The internet is great at giving us walls of text... that nobody reads. Instead, we exhaust ourselves sifting through paragraph after paragraph to find the next connection we need to make. Once this connection is found we google the next term and repeat. Tied in a narrative, information is hard to extract and assimilate. Even if the facts themselves are true the narrative itself can be lying or at best misleading.
SubTyper is a crowd-sourced knowledge web that allows people to rapidly navigate the connections between objects - the subtypes and supertypes, the whole and its parts - without sifting through walls of text.
